The Foodshed Alliance received a $400 donation from Quality Automotive as beneficiary of the auto shop’s “Give Back” program for the month of August. The Blairstown repair shop pledged to donate $5 for each oil change in August, performed a total of 69 oil changes and bumped the total donation to $400!

“For 22 years, Quality Automotive has depended on the people of Blairstown and the surrounding areas to help us make our repair shop a success. In return, we decided to show our gratitude to the community by launching our “Give Back” program,” said co-owner Denise Stanley. Beginning in May 2018 and every month thereafter, one deserving organization will receive $5 for every oil change performed at Quality Automotive.

“We look forward to spreading awareness about our local charities and the wonderful things they accomplish,” Stanley said.

“The people at Quality Automotive are what makes our community great,” said Kendrya Close, Foodshed Alliance executive director. “We are so grateful for being selected for this gift and to all 69 of those people who came in for oil changes.”
