Vass Homestead is New Home for Foodshed Alliance

vassIn July 2015, the Foodshed Alliance moved its offices to the historic and beautiful Vass Homesead on Stillwater Road in Hardwick, across from the lovely White Lake Wildlife Management Area. The 1812 country house is on the National Register of Historic Places The house was restored thanks to the efforts of the Hardwick Township Historical Society, Warren County Freeholders, the New Jersey Office of Historic Preservation, the League of Historic Societies of N.J., Hardwick Township, and The Ridge and Valley Conservancy.

The site not only houses the Foodshed Alliance’s offices but it offers ample and flexible meeting space, allowing us to convene stakeholders and host visitors to facilitate our work.
