August 1 @ 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Join us at Riamede Farm for a free screening of the celebrated French documentary The Gleaners and I. The film explores the ancient practice of gleaning – gathering leftover crops or discarded goods. Today, Riamede works with gleaning organizations to share our excess produce with our neighbors. We want to share the importance of these organizations with our broader community.

Following the film, Ashley Asdal, owner of Riamede Farm, will lead a conversation with Stacey Kennedy, Director of the NJ Agricultural Society, and Christine Parauda, Food Access Director of Foodshed Alliance, to discuss modern gleaning in NJ.

All donations collected will be shared by the NJ Agricultural Society (Farmers Against Hunger) and Foodshed Alliance. We hope you will join us!
