| | | After eight years of dedicated leadership, our longtime LocalShare Program Lead, Shannon Black, is moving on to a new chapter. While we'll miss Shannon, we're deeply grateful for the care, compassion, and countless relationships she cultivated with farmers, volunteers, food pantries, and community partners across our region.
Now, we're looking for the next person to help carry this work forward 💚 |

| | Meet Riamede Farm is the oldest pick-your-own apple orchard in NJ – and has been open to the public since 1974! Riamede Farm offers PYO apples, pumpkins, sunflowers, and seasonal vegetables, as well as a great selection of farm-fresh and artisanal items in their fully-stocked farm store in Chester, NJ. Support this historic farm by following them on social media and visiting their farm this season in Chester.
On Wednesday afternoons in September and October is “Apple Club”, where you can taste and discuss apples that are ripe that week, talk about what’s happening at the farm, and tour the orchard. For more information, including PYO hours & availability, visit their website. |
